The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County celebrated back-to-school with a surprise for kids and teens Monday, unveiling a technology upgrade made possible by a $100,000 donation from Bridgestone Retail Operations’ “Bridgestone Driving Great Futures”. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County is one of three Clubs nationwide to receive technology assistance from Bridgestone this year. The funds supported the renovation of the Club’s computer lab, helped equip the club with 3d printers, Smart Boards, VR Headsets, portable sound systems, and other interactive learning tools. The “Bridgestone Driving Great Futures” project has raised more than $23 million to help children and youth access resources for Boys and Girls Clubs in the US since 2015.
